What creates Saturn’s rings?

Did you know that scientists still don’t know what created the rings of Saturn?
In this episode, we look at the data from the Cassini probe to see if it can shed light on this enigma.

what creates Saturn's Rings

A cosmic mystery

First spotted by Galileo, Saturn’s rings are a source of fascination for human beings. So it seems strange that after all this time, we still don’t know how they were created.

What creates Saturn's Rings

Galileo was thought to have first viewed Saturn’s rings

Cassini’s mission

Thanks to the Cassini missions we have now visited Saturn’s rings and found a few more details.

What creates Saturn's rings

Because the rings are very bright and reflective, scientists have concluded that they are younger than the planet Saturn itself because there hasn’t been enough time for dust particles to decrease this reflectivity.

Was it a collision?

One of the best explanations that scientists have come up is – a collision! Yes, just as in previous examples discussed on this site, when they don’t have an explanation for an observed phenomenon they conclude that it is a collision or an explosion.

Can the Black Hole Principle provide the answer?

According to The Black Hole Principle, creation is happening at every single level coming in from infinite light all the way through to our reality below the speed of light.

The Black Hole Principle

The Black Hole Principle

As I have said on this site many times before, this also creates water and organic compounds such as methane.

It woz Saturn!

So the short answer is Saturn itself is creating the rings. Just as a black hole in a galaxy creates spiralling material.

Saturn also is a black hole that creates water which then freezes. We have discussed before how The Black Hole Principle creates water and Saturn is no different.

The organic material created by The Black Hole Principle process within Saturn is why the inner rings have more organic material than the outer before it dissipates and also why the rings are moving so fast – this is material being ejected from Saturn.

What creates Saturn's rings

Saturn’s spiralling rings

The Geometry of Creation

So why doesn’t every planet have rings? Each level of the Black Hole Principle expresses itself differently. It is all part of the one ultimate spiral of light – so each particle and planet is just somewhere on the spectrum of this one ultimate spiral.

What determines how it will behave? Geometry!

And if you have any doubt that geometry and mathematics are fundamental to the universe – just look at Saturn’s Hexagon at its pole.

Saturn's Hexagon

Geometry causes each level to behave in a different expression of the one pattern. In the case of Saturn, the underlying geometry creating it is beautifully staring at us.

The Mystery of Earthquake Lights

The Mystery of Earthquake Lights

Mysterious Lights have been spotted around Earthquakes but what is causing them?

An elusive mystery

For 300 years, people have been recording mysterious lights that sometimes appear around earthquakes. For many years these reports have been dismissed but recently, people have managed to capture footage of the phenomenon. Sometimes it appears to look like lightning but coming from the ground.

The mainstream science

It doesn’t occur in all earthquakes and its mechanism is still mysterious. Some scientists remain sceptical that they exist at all. Some have proposed that earthquake lights are created by rocks and crystals such as quartz which generate electric currents when an earthquake occurs. This is far from being confirmed, however.

Earthquakes as black holes

From the perspective of The Black Hole Principle, Earthquake lights are easily explained. If the same mechanism that occurs in black holes at the centres of galaxies occurs in earthquakes then the lights are created by the combination of matter and antimatter.

The Black Hole Principle

The Black Hole Principle

Electrons at close to the speed of light are also discharged from a black hole so the lightning from an earthquake is also to be expected.

It is my hope that this knowledge will one day help us to combat earthquakes and alleviate the human suffering that they cause.

Winking Black Holes

Winking Black Holes

Is a black hole winking at us?

A Galaxy named 1ES 1927+654 became the object of attention for astronomers when it went through a 40-fold increase in brightness in March 2018.

They started discussing ‘winking black holes’. In this article, we discuss what is meant by that and what is really going on.

Ordinary no more?

What was thought to be an ordinary black hole at the centre of a galaxy was surprising scientists who turned their telescopes to study it further.

After that initial brightening, the Black Hole then dimmed, getting 10,000 times less bright in less than a year. It has since become brighter again. Hence the idea that it is winking.

Why so fast?

Current orthodox scientists believe that such changes should happen over thousands of years – but this black hole changed by a factor of 100 over the course of eight hours.

One of the foremost theories for what is going on is that a star has collided with the region around the black hole.

Mainstream Scientists believe that a star colliding with the area around a black hole is causing it to ‘wink’.

Mystery Solved

However, by understanding, The Black Hole Principle, the mystery is solved. This predicts that the material ejected from the black hole fluctuates in an unpredictable pattern

The Black Hole Principle

The Black Hole Principle

We don’t need to evoke any violent or weird situations to explain this. Already mainstream scientists have told us about the amazing abilities of black holes to burp and gobble and they are now saying that they can wink.

It’s simply not necessary if you understand the black hole ‘winking’ as a natural consequence of the process at the edge of our reality.

Fast Radio Bursts – finally solved!

Fast Radio Bursts – finally solved!

Fast Radio bursts are one of the biggest mysteries in science today.

You may have heard of them because scientists are so stumped as to what is causing them that they are inventing all sorts of theories. Even that they could be alien communications!

So that’s what we are looking at in this episode of Punk Science TV.

An unexpected signal

In 2007 a scientist named Duncan Lorimer was looking over old data from the 1990s for new insights on pulsars when his student found a huge spike that everybody else had missed.

It was a burst of radio waves that had so much power in a short time that it would have taken the equivalent of all the energy of the solar system to produce them.

It wasn’t very certain if they were an artefact or not but after a while, scientists were finding more of these Fast Radio Bursts or FRBs and they are one of the biggest mysteries of space.

Characteristics of FRBs

What we know about FRBs

1. They emit huge amounts of energy in a short time – we are talking about thousands of a second in some cases.
2. They are coming from various places in the universe including our own galaxy.
3. They can sometimes repeat themselves after days or even hours.
Sometimes the source becomes quiet and we haven’t seen them repeat yet.
4. FRBs come in different strengths.

Alien Radio?

Explanations that have been put forward have included everything from alien communication to neutron stars colliding. We also have a favourite – they are being emitted from objects called Magnetars which are like neutron stars with strong magnetic fields.

(And let’s not forget – these are made-up objects anyway to try and explain the effects we see in space! We haven’t actually seen them directly.)

Chasing the Gamma Rays to the Black Hole

Well, we are now tracking the source of the FRBs and have found that Gamma Ray bursts and X-rays are found in the same area at around the same time.

These are barn door characteristics of The Black Hole Principle.

1. You have the power emitted in a short amount of time, much more than can be explained easily. That’s because the energy is entering into our dimension from infinity.

2. The seemingly random patterns – emission over seconds, hours, days, months or even years can be possible.

It’s the breathing process of the black hole principle that can seem random to us.

3. FRBs are coming from all over space which would be expected as BHP is fractal in nature.

4. And they are associated with gamma-ray bursts and X-rays which I have long spoken about as the consequence of the antimatter, matter and light cycle at the edge of the black hole.

The Black Hole Principle

The Black Hole Principle

There are lots of types of energy emitted by BHP and this includes microwaves and radio waves.

Easy and Effortless

You don’t need any weird explanation for FRB. The universe is effortless. It breathes at every level.

So does this mean there are no aliens in space? No! But you don’t need to evoke aliens to explain FRBs when you understand the Black Hole Principle. It all becomes easy.

Why do comets have jets?

Why do comets have jets?

We are used to comets having long tails but recent investigations show us that comets give off fine jets, but why?

The Old Picture of Comets

We tend to think of comets as snowballs in the sky with long tails.

Ancient people used to think that they were signifiers of doom.

But it’s only in recent years that we have been able to study them in more detail because the European Space Agency has sent probes to various comets.

New Surprises

And what they found was a big surprise.
Instead of just one long tail as the comet nears the sun, comets actually give off jets of vapour and dust including water vapour.

Why do comets have jets?

These can also be accompanied by an increase in brightness.

The video above contains another image of a comet with jets spinning through space.

Too much power

At first, people thought that these plumes must be caused by the sun which heats up ice and gases beneath the surface.

But these plumes erupt with so much power that there must be another energy source involved.

Black holes and comets

Of course from the perspective of The Black Hole Principle, we would expect comets to give off jets intermittently including water vapour.

bipolar jet black hole

That’s because the same process is happening at different scales from a galactic black hole to even a comet.

Just as black holes give off intermittent jets, so do comets.
