Accessing your Galactic Self

Accessing your Galactic Self

In this post we shall discuss how to access your Galactic Self more deeply.

Some of us don’t feel like we belong here. This runs more deeply than the sense that we are outside a particular ‘crowd’. There are people who have memories of being from a different star system all together.

You may have heard the terms ‘star seed’ or the concept that you are becoming a galactic human being. In reality everybody has a galactic self whether they know it or not. Because we are multidimensional, we have many aspects of who we are. We can think of it like layers of an onion. Some of these layers are to do with star systems and dimensions beyond the world of 3D Earth.

In fact the Earth itself has many many levels to it. So has every planet. In reality all planets are inhabited with beings, but at many different frequencies of reality. We are looking for life as we know it, within our dimension. But there is much more to the universe than we can fathom or measure at the moment; this is what cosmologists call dark matter and dark energy.

This meditation is designed to help you to access the galactic aspects of you – your Galactic Self. Make sure you listen to it when you are safe and won’t be interrupted and not when you have to pay attention to something like driving.

I hope you liked this meditation. If you would like more of this sort of information coming straight to your inbox then sign up below.

The Flipside of Spirit

The Flipside of Spirit

Entering the Flipside of Spirit

I have seen it many times, someone undergoes a spiritual awakening and the world becomes all sunshine and rainbows. They just can’t believe their luck and the new world that has opened up to them. They meet people who are psychic and who want a world filled with possibilities and beauty.

Simply Divine

They explore community living, chakras, crystals, tarot. They pinch themselves that just a few months ago they were wondering if there was more to life and now here they are in New Age play land.

Making these new connections it suddenly seems possible that a new Earth could arrive very soon – a beautiful utopian land based on love and peace.

And them boom – life hits them in the face and they are pushed to the point of near disillusionment. They experience events which makes them question everything they have just learnt.

This can take the shape of three phases

1. Betrayal

Usually what happens first is that the oh-so-lovely spiritual people that our new age newbie has just encountered show themselves as they really are – people so keen to escape their issues that they have wandered into the fluffiness of the New Age.

But their emotional traumas remain and show up just as before. This is even more confusing for the newbie as people seemingly so full of love and light up front turn around and act in a vicious manner.

This feels to the newbie as even worse then the ‘normal’ world they thought they had left as at least people there were more upfront about being ruthless. This is a pretty common occurrence for some stepping on the spiritual path.

2. Life events blow up

The Flipside of Spirit, Simply Divine

Another very common occurrence is that shortly after waking up spiritually, life events occur in the person’s life that can bring them to their knees: divorce, job loss and more. This blow up can cause most people to turn their back on spiritual awaking yet it is often not possible. Once out of the box, it cannot be put back in.

Often people lose out on the financial income that they enjoyed before. Many people have immense spiritual skills but they can’t find a way for these skills to lead to financial support.

It seems that the worlds of the spiritual and that of the material are very far apart. They start to lose faith in their own spiritual journey and become disillusioned with it all as ‘airy fairy’ nonsense that is not practical. They don’t see how to keep their integrity and make money.

3. The Road to Integration

This is the Flipside of spirituality and it can be painful. But this doesn’t have to be the point when someone jacks in their journeying and exploration (not that it is possible anyway). Andrew Harvey speaks of undergoing the initiation of the light and then the initiation of the dark.

The truth is we need both to become fully integrated on the journey. We need the dark and the light, the conscious and the subconsciousness, the spiritual and the practical, the immaterial and the material, the matter and the antimatter. If you follow my work you will know what I mean by that last example.

If you can ride the storm through this initiation of the dark and understand it for what it is you will be able to become a more integrated and clearer person. You can exist in the realms of the dimensions as well as have a job if this is what you want.

You will be able to see a lot of the New Age types for who they often are – people escaping from childhood emotional traumas. This means you will have a more balanced view of people and of the world that will put you in better positions than the initial floaty escapism that characterises spiritual newbies.

I am not judging this phase either – I have totally been there myself – we all have. It just becomes very confusing and I hope this article helps people to realise they are not alone in having similar issues blow up in their face. They don’t have to completely reject their spirituality when this happens but can move forward in a more integrated way.

In truth it is your own subconscious emotions and shadow self that are exploding and this is what is reflecting in the world ‘out there’. This insight will help you to navigate some of the most difficult storms.

I have created an online course called Simply Divine which is designed to help you to navigate the shifts including the dark night of the soul and connect more deeply to spirit. To find out more about Simply Divine click here.

The problem with the Dalai Lama’s reponse to the Paris attacks

The problem with the Dalai Lama’s reponse to the Paris attacks

I have a problem with the Dalai Lama’s response to the Paris attacks in 2016. However, by examining his response we can actually learn a few spiritual principles so l am going to do that in this article.

A puzzling quote

In early 2016, after a violent incident in Paris that shook the world, the Dalai Lama was asked to give his opinion on how we should react in an interview with Murali Krishnan.

A lot of the interview covers the spiritual leader’s philosophies on peace, but on the incident in Paris he said,

“We cannot solve this problem only through praying. I am a Buddhist and I believe in praying. Humans have created this problem, and now we are asking God to resolve it. It is illogical. God would say, solve it yourself because you created it in the first place”.

I was quite amazed by this quote, but it is not the first time I have suspected something surprising: the Dalai Lama may not be as spiritually connected as many people think.

Let’s examine this point by point:-

The Power of Prayer

At the beginning of this quote he says we cannot solve the problem by praying even though he is a Buddhist and believes in praying.

In this quote he seems to reveal a lack of understanding prayer and its power. Prayer is simply the focus on intention and consciousness. It is about harnessing universal forces.

In the situation in Paris, this was exactly the point where good intentions and shifts in consciousness were vital. Ancient Eastern religions have long taught that consciousness is fundamental to reality and as someone steeped in such religions the Dalai Lama should have known that it is only by a shift in consciousness that the 3-D level can follow suit.

He also reveals in this quote that he believes that when we pray it is to something external: a ‘God’ outside ourselves. Buddhism and many other spiritual philosophies emphasise the God within ourselves and our connection to that unity. Yet this Paris quote is very indicative of a belief in an anthropomorphic God who can reach in and solve our issues.

Facing the Shadow

Nowhere in this quote does he discuss that these incidents reflect the reflection our own collective emotional shadow. But of course if we are all linked, then the universe simply reflects the interior of our consciousness.

Now that this concept has entered mainstream culture through books like, ‘The Secret’, it is even more amazing that one of the world’s foremost spiritual leaders does not explain this principle especially in a moment when the world needs to hear this so badly.

Understanding the emotional reflection of the shadow is the basis for personal and collective evolution of consciousness. This was a massive opportunity with the world looking at him to discuss how we are projecting our shadow and that we are all connected and have God within us.

But instead he perpetuated the rather puzzling view that we are separate from God which I would have thought was the opposite of Buddhism.

Conclusions

To me these are not the words of a someone who feels connected to the God within as true force in the universe. We do not pray to something outside ourselves, we are all one and connected; we are all God.

Ultimately we create these events from a Higher level and as a projection of our emotional shadow. So why would we create suffering and death? In reality nothing and nobody ever truly dies (although the pain in the 3-D realm is not to be disrespected or ignored).

A more empowering teaching is that every soul that incarnates has already made a decision as to their exact mode and time of death and this is unfolding in a perfect way. There are higher dimensional reasons for everything that occurs in 3-D but these are sometimes difficult to understand from the 3-D perspective as we go through pain, horror and grief.

Focusing on a polarity such as peace, will just maintain polarity as peace is the opposite of conflict. It is only through the integration of the shadow that we can see the polarity clearly enough to enter into a centred state. A true master does not focus on polarity and opposite – war vs peace etc,  but on clearing the emotional shadow on a personal level as this will also clear the collective consciousness.

Another questionable quote

I also question the following quote from the Tibetan leader.

‘Don’t let the behaviour of others destroy your inner peace.’

This quote from the Dalai Lama is actually the opposite of good spiritual practice. I am not saying that people need to be knocked about by others, but true spirituality is increased by the knowledge that we are all one and therefore seemingly annoying behaviour in others is simply a mirror being held up to our own selves.

The annoying behaviour of others is a message that we, in our own higher wisdom, have created for a reason and our job is not to ignore it and hope it will go away (it will actually come back in a stronger form), but to understand the lessons and the reflections and to integrate them and move forward into deeper wisdom.

Peace is not created from ignoring the call of your soul but by understanding that the entire universe is connected and that the events that happen in your life are created in your own higher wisdom to bring the perfect loving lessons for your own soul growth.

It may not bring short term comfort but in the long run this is the true road to peace.

What’s next?

Hidden Science – behind the scenes

Hidden Science – behind the scenes

I am going to share something I have never written about before but get asked about a lot – what it was really like to be a part of the Hidden Science show.

A request

Around July 2013 I got a message from internationally renowned David Icke asking me to create a TV show for his new venture The People’s Voice TV (TPV). He wanted to create a credible show which would debate various scientific issues and be able to invite skeptics into the studio.

James and I quickly put together a proposal and a video highlighting the sorts of areas I had been involved with so far. David had come to me asking me to create a Punk Science show so a natural progression was to align it with the types of topics covered in the book. For the first time ever, we are making this audition footage available to the public. As you can see this was when the show was still called ‘Punk Science’

The planning stages

As time progressed, I thought it best to separate the show from my persona and brand, Punk Science so it was not all about me. The first producer involved came up with the name ‘Hidden Science’ and the graphics person, Miki Zoric got to work immediately on the amazing graphics that you see on the show.

Hidden Science the People's voice

To attend meetings, I had to travel down from Derbyshire, where I lived at the time, all the way to Wembley in North London where David’s team had kitted out a large office and TV studio. Through the hard work of some dedicated individuals who were either volunteers or receiving very little money, the sets and the office for TPV slowly took shape. Equipment was donated or obtained second hand and the office and studio gradually started to take shape.

The Hidden Science team

There was an initial shuffling around of the staff which ended up with bringing the director John Webster of Patient Zero Productions on board with the musician and producer, Clifford White. Both worked without pay or expenses for the entire time of the project. John Webster and myself eventually emerged as the main production thrust of the project and despite the fact that neither of us were getting paid, we both insisted on high standards in our complementary skills which contributed to the show’s success.

Yes you read that right, despite the fact that Hidden Science pretty much became my full time work for eight months, I did not receive a penny in payment for work or for expenses even though I was traveling from London to Derbyshire to take shoot the show, which was a round trip of 300 miles. Luckily I had some other work that came in during that period but it was a bit touch and go for myself and James. In an attempt to limit the amount of travel I had to do, I insisted that we prerecord two shows in a day so that I could fit shows around my speaking schedule.

Co-ordinating our skills

Between us we created a list of topics, guests and went about booking them. It was all hands on deck each of us using our skills to put the project together. Clifford composed the music to Miki Zoric’s opening title graphics. He also co-ordinated the guests with me and liaised between TPV and Hidden Science.

John created the set design and even came up with the printed background idea that enable TPV to quickly change studios in between shows. He created the running order and format and directed the show with the gallery director. This included a new experience for me – having someone talking in my ear whilst I was on the show. It reminded me a bit of seeing patients as a doctor as I needed to be conscious of several lines of thinking at once.

John would also film the mini documentaries that you see in the show with the actress, Grace Willis. He would also put all the footage together including the graphics and sometimes take the footage into Wembley to be uploaded in person.

We also had a great team from TPV which would include people helping with the set, audio technicians, gallery directors and more. Liz Roberts was the main point of contact for all the shows and she did an amazing job at coordinating everything for the entire channel.

With my experience in the field of science and spirituality I was able to book a lot of the guests as I have a lot of contacts in this area. Coordinating things so that three people ended up on the sofa in Wembley on the correct day to talk about the right topic took many hours and I did this from home. After the first show, I also wrote the scripts and the running order as well as sorting out the teleprompter and even doing the makeup for the guests and myself!

It was hard work to research the topics of each show which often involved reading the books which had been written by the guests. I felt it was almost like sitting exams again as I needed to be prepared for each show. I also wrote all the questions for the guests and their introductory biographies.

The success of the show

We knew that we had high standards but we did not expect what happened next. For a lot of the time that TPV was running, Hidden Science became one of the most viewed shows on the channel based on the Youtube views. The shows were added to Youtube after airing on the internet channel. Some of the statistics have been lost as the Youtube channel was hacked and all of the videos deleted but even with the replaced videos you can still see the popularity of the shows.

You won’t see the success of Hidden Science reflected in any of the trailers for TPV which are still on the internet because for some reason, despite me twice making the unpaid 300 mile round trip to the studio for promotion events when asked, we were not interviewed for them or the footage was not used. I still don’t know why this was the case because communication with management remained poor and chaotic throughout the experience. In fact I wasn’t ever sure whom to address issues to apart from Liz Roberts. There were no contracts or known management structure to refer to.

Interestingly the skeptics did not agree to come on the show. So we didn’t have the debates that David originally wanted. Instead a lot of the content was about exploring new scientific vistas with me playing devil’s advocate if needed. The shows opened up new possibilities instead of just pointing out what was wrong with the world right now – it was a message of hope and new growth. To our surprise this approach was very popular.

Would I do it again?

Ultimately, although I am glad I did the show as I was able to bring in the benefit of my experience and contacts to the show to elevate it to something of a serious scientific discourse. However, I don’t think hosting a TV show is really my forte although I enjoyed the production side of it. I am glad that I was part of bringing something of interest to a lot of people from the numbers of appreciative messages the team received.

Because the filming of the shows were often so hectic, we did not have much time to take footage of behind the scenes but sometimes James would help with the shows and this is some of the footage that was taken of the studio and in the gallery.

Physics and consciousness – a dialogue at last.

Physics and consciousness – a dialogue at last.

Physicists generally avoid discussing consciousness. It seems to be too ethereal a subject for them really to get hold of. It forces them to enter a world outside of calculations and experiments and examine the world of human behaviour which is far less predictable and controllable.

But the past twenty years has seen a shift in science as a whole where the once forbidden topic of consciousness is coming to the forefront. Possibly because it is the last frontier and people are running out of other topics to study for their PhDs.

Yet it was still a surprise when Max Tegmark, a theoretical physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge tackled the problem in 2014 and published a paper suggesting that Consciousness could be a state of matter. You can read the abstract here. http://arxiv.org/abs/1401.1219

You can see his TED talk below.

He is basically arguing that consciousness is not something external that is animating matter, but a consequence of the way in which matter is arranged mathematically.Tegmark himself states that there are many gaps in his idea.

One that really springs to mind for me is what happens when people are clinically dead and then are resuscitated? Or how much of a rearrangement is necessary from moment to moment for a being to be alive at one point and then dead the next?

Questions and gaps aside it is good to see that such a prominent physicist actually tackling the question at all as he open the gates for others to consider the topic too.

Of course here at Paradigm Revolution we have been discussing consciousness and matter for many years. You can get started by exploring this website or checking out Simply Divine which is an easy guide to the Science of Spirituality.
